With the start of the Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament today, it's time for fans to think about what foods they want to enjoy during the three-day tournament.
The Stan Sheriff Center offers a wide variety of foods to choose from and even offers a way for students with a meal plan to purchase food using blocks, points or bonus points.
According to Junoh Ordenstein, director of concessions for Sodexo, the three-year-old program allows students to exchange blocks and points for coupons known as scrip. "(Scrip is) just like cash, which can be used at any of the food stands, except for alcohol stands. We can take out one block, one dollar in points or bonus points. ... Because Sodexo has all of the meal plans for the whole campus, we're able to do that," Ordenstein said.
