Road not so friendly to Rainbow Wahine

The University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Wahine (7-2-1) head out for their second road trip this season in hopes of ending their woes on the road, as they are currently coasting on a six-game losing streak dating back to last season. This week, UH travels to Southern California for a pair of road matches at Loyola Marymount (6-3-1) and Pepperdine (2-4-3) to conclude non-conference play.

The University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Wahine sailing team got the 2007 to 2008 season underway this past weekend at the Bryson Women's Intersectional, finishing second in the eight-team event. No. 3 Stanford hosted the regatta and took home first place.

With their first road trip of the season behind them, the No. 12 University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Wahine volleyball team is 11-3 on the season and 5-0 in Western Athletic Conference play. After a week off, the Rainbow Wahine will host the Nevada Wolf Pack on Friday night and the Fresno State Bulldogs on Sunday.
