Rainbow Wahine tame the Wolf Pack

Outside hitters have noteworthy night

In its 28th meeting Friday night, the University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Wahine volleyball team snapped the University of Nevada Wolf Pack's three-match win streak in front of a crowd of 5,149 at the Stan Sheriff Center. The Rainbow Wahine defeated the Wolf Pack in three straight games, 30-13, 30-25, 30-19.

Loyola Marymount hands Rainbow Wahine third loss of the season & Warrior football schedule complete for 2008 season

The University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Wahine soccer team has yet to win a game on the road, falling 2-0 to the Lions of Loyola Marymount on Thursday afternoon at Sullivan Field. With the loss, the Rainbow Wahine fell to 7-3-1 on the season as Loyola Marymount broke their school record for consecutive wins with seven. The University of Hawai‘i Warrior football team may not have Colt Brennan next year, but they will have something else to look forward to. UH's athletic director, Herman Frazier, announced the Warriors' 2008 football schedule on Thursday, with appearances by teams in the SEC, Pac-10, Big East and Big Sky conferences.

In an unexpected fashion, the No. 16 University of Hawai‘i Warriors survived a shoot-out against the winless Utah State Aggies, 52-37, at Aloha Stadium Saturday night, as they improved to 6-0 overall, 3-0 in Western Athletic Conference play.
