The University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Wahine soccer team (15-4-2) overcame Fresno State 1-0 in the Western Athletic Conference tournament championship game on Sunday, earning them an automatic NCAA berth.

The Rainbow Wahine will be appearing in the tournament for the first time in the program's 14-year history. The Colorado Buffaloes will host UH in the first round on Friday, Nov. 16.

The NCAA berth is just one of many accolades for the soccer team this season, including new highs in wins (15), shutouts (12) and goals in a season (59). The Rainbow Wahine are riding a five-game winning streak, including wins in eight of the last nine matches.
