In mid-December, Hawai‘i's youngest professional golfer, Tadd Fujikawa, announced his first corporate sponsor, Aloha Petroleum Ltd. The Fujikawas signed a one-year deal, which has the option for a contract renewal.

Because of this new deal, there were changes that were made in Aloha's Save-A-$ Club charge card. The company will now donating 3 cents per gallon purchased to Hawai‘i junior golf when a cardholder purchases gasoline in a 12-month period.

Last week, Fujikawa teamed up with KRAFT Foods Hawai‘i as his second sponsor. The deal with KRAFT includes a number of 2008 personal appearances in Hawai‘i on behalf of the local company. The 2008 appearances include golf clinics, meet and greets, and autograph sessions with the local golf sensation, who is the youngest player to ever make the cut in a PGA Tour event.
