Saturday, Jan. 12

Housing staff at Hale Ilima turned over a large glass water bong allegedly used to smoke marijuana. The bong was taken from a student resident. Campus Security took the bong as evidence and forwarded the case to the Vice-Chancellor for further action.

Monday, Jan. 14

Four laptops were stolen from a room at Henke Hall. HPD was notified about the thefts that occurred between Jan. 11 and Jan. 14.

A woman reported that while showering at Hale Mānoa during the night, a man entered her stall. He ran away when she screamed. The man was described as 5' 10", average build, fair complexion with short black hair and in his early 20's.

Wednesday, Jan. 16

A student was cited for underage drinking at Hale Ilima at 6:30 p.m. An alcohol container was confiscated by Campus Security.

HPD responded to a report of a sexual assault at Hale Ilima. An underage woman reported that an 18 year-old man secretly videotaped them engaged in sex in October of last year. The suspect was arrested for the 3rd sex assault and violation of privacy.

Thursday, Jan. 17

Campus Security responded to the Hale Mokihana parking lot at 3:30 a.m. and found that an inebriated man had hit a tree. The man was arrested at Hale Mokihana for driving under the influence and taken away by HPD.

Two computers were stolen from Crawford Hall between Jan. 14 and Jan. 17. There are no suspects at this time.

Friday, Jan. 18

Campus Security responded to a report of a tree on fire near the Hale Mānoa stream behind Hale Noelani. When officers arrived they saw two men running away from a Christmas tree that was on fire. Security extinguished the fire.
