Members of UH Cat Care have followed the example of other major universities in hopes of better managing the cat colonies on the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa campus by putting out feeders and litter boxes for the cats.
Human rights activist Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o will be visiting the school this week. Imprisoned by former Kenyan President Daniel Arap Moi in 1977 for his play "I Will Marry When I Want," Thiong'o entered into self-imposed exile upon his release.
