After some rough losses in WAC play, the Warriors have a tough task ahead of them if they want to get a bid in postseason play. The Warriors are currently 2-5 overall and 0-3 in WAC play and is riding a 5-game losing streak.

Their most recent loss was dealt to them by the No.4 Boise State on Saturday night at Aloha Stadium. The 9-54 loss, marked Hawai‘i’s 10th largest loss of all time and the five-game losing streak is the longest since the 1998 season, a season where the Warriors were winless.

Starting sophomore quarterback Bryant Moniz was taken out of the game in the first quarter and was replaced by fellow sophomore Shane Austin, who made his first collegiate appearance.

The Warriors are trying to shake their five-game losing streak and finish the season strong. They will have two more road trips to Nevada on Oct. 31 and San Jose State on Nov. 21.

Homecoming is scheduled for the next home game on Nov. 7 against Utah State and will commence at 5:05 p.m. The Warriors will also be facing off against the Navy on Military Night, Nov. 28 at 5:30 p.m.
