After some rough losses in WAC play, the Warriors have a tough task ahead of them if they want to get a bid in postseason play. The Warriors are currently 2-5 overall and 0-3 in WAC play and is riding a 5-game losing streak.
Their most recent loss was dealt to them by the No.4 Boise State on Saturday night at Aloha Stadium. The 9-54 loss, marked Hawai‘i’s 10th largest loss of all time and the five-game losing streak is the longest since the 1998 season, a season where the Warriors were winless.
Starting sophomore quarterback Bryant Moniz was taken out of the game in the first quarter and was replaced by fellow sophomore Shane Austin, who made his first collegiate appearance.

Women’s Volleyball
With an 18-2 overall record and a 8-0 WAC record, it’s no surprise that the Rainbow Wahine volleyball team was able to give their coach, Dave Shoji, his 1000th win. Ranked third in the nation, the only question now is, will they take the WAC championship once again? There are two more road trips ahead for the ’Bows where they will face Fresno State, Nevada, San Jose State, Boise State, Idaho and Utah State.
