The next time you come up the elevator of Zone 20 and cross Dole St. to start your long trek to class, try your hand at counting the number of plants and trees you pass by. In case you were curious, UH Mānoa’s 320-acre lush campus is home to more than six thousand plants. 

You’ve likely encountered them, especially if you frequent the Frear Hall mail room. Not just one or two, but a multitude of baby-like figurines lined up in a neat row, staring into your soul. At times, they’re queued up for boba, climbing up a computer or simply lounging about.
